About Float Board

Float Board classes are a combination of aerobic and balance exercises – whilst standing, sitting or laying on a large firm mat floating on the water.

Float Board classes develop a person’s cardio fitness, as well as their general functional fitness – core strength.

There are a lot of different definitions of core muscles. However, the most common definition is to think of core muscles starting at the bottom of the rib cage, down to the hamstrings, and everything in between.

Your core connects your upper and lower body.

Each participant is guided over the course of 45mins to complete a variety of exercises that move between cardio-aerobic fitness to core strength exercises. This hybrid approach to exercise enables the participant to achieve a broad range of health and fitness results from the one class.

Float Board classes vary between high and low intensity, but all participants should be ready to get wet and have some fun.
